Nathalie Rodach questions the relationship between Man and his fate. For the exhibition Cris et Féminités, Rodach weaves links between the spiritual, the organic, and the trivial. In the series Féminités (Femininities), through weaving, Rodach explores life’s paths and the questioning of women.
In the series Cris (Shouts), on the transparency of X-ray film, the artist paints faces, deformed by mute, fixed expectations. Collectively, the shouts and the femininities tell a story; one of essential introspection. By revealing these secrets, she plunges the spectator into a naked and fragile level of intimacy.
