Biography - Sébastien Worsnip
Born in Montreal in 1969, Sébastien Worsnip lives and works in Montreal. He studied industrial design at the Université de Montréal and holds a Bachelor’s in Studio Arts from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (1990).
Worsnip’s work has been exhibited in Canada and abroad, notably as solo exhibitions at the Gotlands Konstmuseum (Visby, Sweden, 1996), at Langage Plus (Alma, 2000), at Elora Arts Centre (Elora, 2009) and at the Joyce Yahouda Gallery (Montreal, 2009). He has also participated in residencies in Paris (Bateau Lavoir, 1999) and in Baie-St-Paul’s Symposium de la nouvelle peinture, in 1997.
His works are featured in many important public, corporate and private collections, including Loto-Québec, CPOA Musée des beaux Arts de Québec Groupe Everest, Optimum, Centre d’art de Baie-St-Paul and Visby Kunstmuseum.
