Biography - Marc Dulude
Marc Dulude lives and works in Montreal. He completed a Bachelors in visual arts at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (1999) and a Masters in visual arts at the Université de Chicoutimi (2003).
Dulude has presented his artworks in numerous individual exhibits, notably at Plein Sud (Longueuil, 2008), Circa (Montreal, 2008) Galerie Simon Blais(2011) and Stride Gallery (Calgary, 2013). He presented his work at the Biennale nationale de sculpture contemporaine (Trois-Rivières, 2006), as well as part of many collective exhibits, such as Orange 2ième édition (Sainte-Hyacinthe, 2006), Occurrence (Montreal, 2010) and Galerie SAS (Montreal, 2012). He has also participated in various artistic events and social projects in Canada, the United States, France and Scotland.
Dulude has received many grants from the Conseil des Arts et Lettres du Québec and the Canada Council for the Arts. In 2005, he represented Quebec in the 5th Jeux de la Francophonie in Niger. His sculptures can be found in public spaces throughout Montreal, in the Mascouche train station, and it will soon be featured at the Olympic Park. His multidisciplinary artistic practice includes installations, sculptures, land art and photography.
