Biography - Adrian Norvid
Born in London (England) in 1959, Adrian Norvid lives and works in Montreal.
His works have been exhibited throughout Canada, including solo exhibitions at Rooms in St John’s (NFD, 2011), at Art Gallery of Windsor (2009), at AKA Gallery in Saskatoon (2005), at Galerie B312 in Montreal (2005) at Axe Neo7 in Gatineau (2005) and Leonard & Bina Ellen Gallery (2002).
Joyce Yahouda Gallery presented Adrian Norvid’s work in solo exhibitions and group shows since 2006 (Woodie Hoodie, 2006; Wrongo, 2010; The Wall Project, 2010; Extreme Painting 2010).
He participated in numerous events, such as the Symposium d’art contemporain de Baie-Saint-Paul (2006) and Pop Montreal (2008 and 2009). In 2008, Norvid exhibited at the Quebec Triennial at the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal and at Musée d’art de Joliette. In 2011, he published a book (Nogoodnicks, Drawn & Quaterly ed.).
His work is represented in Montreal by Joyce Yahouda Gallery.
